Key Responsibilities

  • Create invoices for all retail sales accurately and on time.
  • Maintain daily records of all incoming and outgoing balances in the accounting software.
  • Prepare and maintain all tax-related reports, including:
  • GST (Goods & Services Tax) (CGST, SGST, IGST)
  • TDS (Tax Deducted at Source)
  • Preparation of
    GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and GSTR-9
    reports
  • Income Tax
  • Professional Tax
  • Advance Tax
    (if applicable)
  • Any other applicable statutory compliances.
  • Reconcile daily transactions with bank and cash records.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer data —
    Name, Email ID, Address, Phone Number
    — to support the marketing team with analytics and retargeting efforts.
  • Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants for monthly, quarterly, and annual filing requirements.
  • Ensure all accounting data is securely updated and maintained for easy access and analysis.
  • Generate monthly and quarterly financial summaries for management review.

Requirements

  • Graduate in Commerce (
    B.Com
    ) or equivalent;
    M.Com
    preferred.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as
    Tally, Busy, or similar
    .
  • In-depth knowledge of
    GST, TDS, Income Tax
    , and other Indian taxation rules.
  • Strong skills in
    MS Excel
    or
    Google Sheets
    for reporting and analytics.
  • High accuracy in data entry and financial calculations.
  • Ability to coordinate with internal teams for smooth financial operations.
  • Prior experience in the
    retail or jewellery industry
    will be an added advantage.
