The company promotes food and agripreneurship development through print media and publishes a bilingual (English-Marathi), quarterly magazine focused on the Food Processing and Post-harvest sector. Each edition is circulated worldwide, with maximum circulation in India and Africa. In addition to publishing, Udyogprerana also focuses on manufacturing dehydrated ingredients, supercritical fluid extracts, turnkey projects, product and process development, and private label work for tea, brews, and ready-to-eat/ready-to-cook products.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Production Manager located in Pune. The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations, ensuring product quality and efficiency. This role includes planning and coordinating production schedules, managing inventory, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The Production Manager will also work on process improvements and collaborate with other departments to achieve operational goals.

Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing dehydrated ingredients and supercritical fluid extracts
  • Skills in planning and coordinating production schedules, managing inventory, and supervising staff
  • Knowledge of quality control, safety standards, and process improvements
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work on-site in Pune
  • Experience in the food processing or agripreneurship sector is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Technology, Business Management, or related field
