About the role

We're looking for an International Localization Dubbing Specialist to oversee the production of Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu dubs, manage vendor relationships, and ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of episodic marketing content and related assets. You'll report to the Senior Manager of International Dubbing and serve as a subject matter expert for the Indian media and localization landscape.

You'll act as a key communication bridge between vendors, translation, programming, and distribution teams, ensuring all localized content meets both licensors' and Crunchyroll's creative and technical standards in a fast-paced environment.

Core Areas of Responsibility

• Project Management
  • Manage competing priorities, timelines, and stakeholder communication to keep projects on track.
  • Monitor and report project progress, escalating issues when needed.
  Process Improvement & Planning
  • Partner with your manager to document dubbing workflows and SOPs.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve processes.
  • Understand the full supply chain to propose practical solutions and efficiencies.
  Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Communicate effectively with localization and partner teams to ensure alignment.
  • Anticipate potential issues and address them proactively.
  • Build strong cross-functional awareness to understand how decisions impact other teams.
  We are considering applicants available to work a hybrid schedule, with three days each week onsite at our Mumbai office.

About You

We get excited about candidates, like you, because...

• 5+ years of experience in localization, dubbing, or production within the entertainment industry
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Media, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Strong understanding of the Indian media and localization landscape
• Proven experience managing dubbing projects to completion and leading vendors or teams
• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
• Creative problem-solver with the ability to balance multiple priorities diplomatically
• Proficient in Google Suite, PowerPoint or Keynote, and Airtable
• Fluent in English and Hindi; proficiency in Tamil,Telugu languages a strong plus
• Passion for anime, Japanese culture, and entertainment
• Travel as needed
