- The Supplier Due Diligence Specialist is responsible for conducting comprehensive due diligence and risk assessments of vendors to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role involves evaluating vendor risk profiles identifying potential risks and collaborating with the Compliance officer to develop mitigation strategies. Key Responsibilities: 1. Vendor Due Diligence:Conduct comprehensive due diligence on both potential and existing vendors. This should include thorough background checks financial analysis and compliance reviews. 2 Risk Assessment:Evaluate vendor risk profiles based on various factors such as financial stability operational capabilities compliance history and cybersecurity measures. 3 Compliance Management:Ensure all vendor relationships comply with internal policies and external regulatory requirements. Monitor and manage compliance issues and implement corrective actions as needed. 4 Stakeholder Management:Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including procurement legal compliance teams and vendors to ensure a holistic approach to vendor risk management. 5 Audits:Regularly audit vendor processes and performance to ensure ongoing compliance and risk mitigation. Identify areas for improvement and work with vendors to implement necessary changes. 6 Data Analysis:Analyze data from various sources to identify trends patterns and anomalies in vendor performance and risk profiles. Use data-driven insights to inform risk assessment and decision-making processes. 7 Documentation:Maintain detailed records of due diligence and risk assessment processes findings and recommendations. 8 Reporting:Prepare and present risk assessment reports to senior management highlighting key risks and recommended actions. 9 Continuous Improvement:Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes to improve the vendor due diligence and risk assessment processes continuously.
