About Thicket Tales

Thicket Tales is a Bangalore-based organisation reimagining education through nature. We design immersive, nature-based learning programs that blend academics with real-world exploration, fostering joy in learning and shaping active, environmentally responsible citizens. Working directly with our Founder and Head Naturalist, our team of ecologists, biologists, and educators curates transformative experiences for children both inside and outside the classroom.

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Associate to expand our reach in Bangalore schools. The role involves identifying and engaging schools, building strong relationships with decision-makers, and closing partnerships for implementing Thicket Tales' flagship programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and identify potential schools across Bangalore.
  • Reach out to principals, school leadership, and educators to present Thicket Tales' offerings.
  • Schedule and conduct pitches/demos to showcase our nature-based curriculum and workshops.
  • Maintain relationships with schools to ensure repeat engagement.
  • Work closely with the Founder and Head Naturalist to align outreach with program objectives.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Prior experience in B2B sales, education sales, or related field is a plus.
  • Self-driven, organised, and motivated to achieve results.
  • Passion for education, sustainability, and nature is highly desirable.

Compensation

  • Commission-based role.
  • Commission structure: 10–15% per closed school contract (industry standard for education sales in India).
  • Potential to transition to a fixed + variable model based on performance.

Job Types: Part-time, Contractual / Temporary, Freelance

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: From ₹10,718.04 per month

Expected hours: 6 – 10 per week
