
Business Representative

The Business Representative - Scrap (Sales And Procurement) is responsible for overseeing the inspection, evaluation, and quality assurance of Non-Ferrous Metal Scrap (such as Aluminum, Copper, Brass, Lead, Zinc, etc.) to ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry standards. The role requires hands-on supervision of sorting and processing activities, documentation, and collaboration with operations and sales teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor the quality inspection process of incoming and outgoing Non-Ferrous Scrap.
- Ensure all material meets required specifications (chemical composition, cleanliness, physical condition, contamination levels).
- Oversee proper sorting, segregation, and processing of different metal types and grades.
- Train and guide inspection staff on quality standards and procedures.
- Maintain records of material inspections, test results, and non-conformance reports.
- Liaise with suppliers and customers to resolve quality issues and provide feedback.
- Coordinate with the production and warehouse teams to ensure proper handling and storage of materials.
- Enforce safety and environmental regulations during quality checks and material handling.
- Perform random quality audits and initiate corrective actions as necessary.
- Assist in updating and developing quality control procedures and SOP
