We are looking for a smart, intelligent, and result-driven Business Development Manager who can generate business through Upwork for Digital Marketing services including SEO, PPC, Social Media Marketing, Web Development, and Performance Marketing.

The ideal candidate must be confident in client communication, experienced in Upwork bidding & conversions, and capable of handling international client calls independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate high-quality leads and business through Upwork
  • Identify relevant projects and submit strategic proposals
  • Handle end-to-end client communication (chat, calls, Zoom/Google Meet)
  • Understand client requirements and translate them into clear scopes
  • Coordinate with internal teams (SEO, PPC, Developers, Designers)
  • Maintain and grow long-term client relationships
  • Achieve monthly revenue and conversion targets
  • Track leads, follow-ups, and closures in CRM or tracking sheets
  • Stay updated with Upwork algorithm changes and best practices

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5-7 years of proven experience in Upwork business development
  • Strong understanding of Digital Marketing services:
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Confidence to handle international clients (US, UK, AU, EU)
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Self-driven, proactive, and target-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work independently without constant supervision
  • Experience generating business for Digital Marketing / IT agencies
  • Knowledge of proposal automation & bidding strategies
  • Existing Upwork profile with successful closures
  • Familiarity with CRM tools

Pay: ₹50, ₹70,000.00 per month
