As an Advanced Joining Techniques Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs focused on advanced joining methods. You will play a crucial role in helping students and professionals master the intricacies of welding, brazing, soldering, and other innovative joining processes.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Curriculum Development: Create and update training materials, course content, and hands-on exercises to ensure that the curriculum remains up to date with the latest advancements in joining techniques.
• Hands-On Training: Provide practical training in advanced welding, brazing, soldering, and other joining methods, emphasizing precision and quality.
• Assessment and Feedback: Evaluate the progress of trainees through practical assessments and written tests, offering constructive feedback for skill improvement.
• Safety Emphasis: Emphasize and enforce safety practices and protocols specific to advanced joining techniques to ensure a safe working environment.
• Equipment Expertise: Demonstrate expertise in operating and maintaining the latest equipment and tools used in advanced joining processes.
• Material Science: Educate students on material properties, selection, and their impact on the quality of joined components.
• Troubleshooting: Develop trainees' problem-solving skills in identifying and resolving issues related to advanced joining processes.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and training activities.
• Continuous Learning: Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovations in advanced joining techniques.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience for a degree with 2-3 years of training experience and 8-10 years of experience for a diploma with 2-3 years of training experience or equivalent in a related field, such as Materials Science, Welding Technology, or Metallurgy.
• Proven experience in advanced joining techniques, with a minimum of 2 years in a related role.
• Certification in advanced welding, brazing, soldering, or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and protocols in advanced joining processes.
• Exceptional communication and instructional skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
