Job Title: Site Engineer

Location: Dehradun, Uttarakhand

Job Type: Contract

Job Summary:

The Site Engineer will oversee day-to-day construction activities on-site for a PEB structure installation project and building civil work. This role involves coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure timely and quality execution of the construction works in accordance with design specifications, safety standards, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with civil, MEP, and interior teams to ensure integrated execution of works.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the project manager.
  • Inspect work for quality assurance and ensure timely rectification of defects or non-conformances.
  • Ensure that materials and workmanship meet the required specifications and standards.
  • Liaise with local authorities and ensure all statutory and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Maintain daily site reports, including manpower, equipment usage, and material deliveries.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are strictly adhered to by all workers on-site.
  • Assist in the preparation of work schedules, method statements, and risk assessments.
  • Attend and participate in site meetings and coordinate with stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 2–5 years of site supervision experience, preferably in PEB/Civil building, commercial, or fit-out projects.
  • Strong knowledge of civil, structural, and interior works.
  • Familiarity with MEP coordination is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD; knowledge of project management tools is an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous work on construction work.
  • Experience in fast-track construction environments.
