Job Summary:

The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities meet the required quality standards, specifications, and project requirements. The role involves implementing QA/QC procedures, conducting inspections, and ensuring adherence to real estate construction norms and safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) systems at project sites.
  • Conduct inspections for materials, workmanship, and construction methods to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
  • Maintain quality documentation, inspection reports, and test records.
  • Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and consultants to resolve quality issues.
  • Ensure material testing and verification as per IS codes and standards.
  • Review and approve inspection test plans (ITPs) and method statements.
  • Identify non-conformities and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor execution quality for structural, finishing, and waterproofing works.
  • Support internal and external quality audits.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards at the site.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering.
  • 3–7 years of experience in QA/QC within Real Estate or Construction projects.
