Assistant Manager – Accounts (UK, Australia) — Chartered Accountant

Reports to: Team Leaders/Directors

Locations: Mohali/Ludhiana Experience: 0–1 year post-qualification (CA)

What you will do


• Review and finalise statutory accounts for UK entities (FRS 102/105).


• Oversee preparation of corporation tax computations and returns (CT600), and support personal tax filing.


• Direct AP/AR reconciliations; resolve aged items and ledger breaks.


• Own month-end close checklists; sign-off journals, accruals, prepayments.


• Manage work allocation and turnaround across a small pod; uphold QA standards.


• Communicate directly with UK clients on queries, schedules and deliverables.

What you'll bring


• CA with strong grounding in accounting, bookkeeping and financial reporting.


• Excellent English communication (written & verbal) and stakeholder handling.


• Advanced Excel (lookups, pivots, power queries preferred) and working knowledge of cloud accounting.

Nice-to-have


• Exposure to UK tax (corporate/personal), Companies House filings, MTD-VAT.


• Experience mentoring juniors; process documentation mindset.
