About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled
QA Automation Engineer
with strong expertise in
Playwright
and solid experience in
JavaScript/TypeScript
. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and execute automated test scripts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and reliable applications.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end test automation frameworks using
    Playwright
    .
  • Write, execute, and maintain automation test scripts in
    JavaScript/TypeScript
    .
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and cross-browser testing.
  • Identify, log, and track defects while ensuring timely resolution.
  • Drive best practices in automation testing and mentor junior QA engineers when needed.


Required Skills & Experience

  • 5–7 years of professional experience in QA Automation.
  • Strong hands-on experience in
    Playwright
    automation.
  • Proficiency in
    JavaScript/TypeScript
    for test automation.
  • Good knowledge of testing methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git).
  • Familiarity with API testing (REST/GraphQL) is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.


Good to Have

  • Experience with other automation frameworks (Cypress, Selenium, etc.).
  • Knowledge of performance and security testing concepts.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology.
