Internal Communications Specialist

Role & responsibilities
- Edit research outputs to improve business writing, structure, and style with an eye to clarity and conciseness
- Proofread written research outputs and ensure error-free copies of the assigned content
- Help analysts bring the key insights upfront in concise and impactful manner. Identify gaps in so-what in their messaging and highlight
- Coach team members to remove redundancies, avoid marketing language, and present insights in a compelling business writing language, that presents a neutral point of view
- A general understanding of economy, industries and services and perusal of publications is recommended.
- Provide a thorough debrief to the analyst(s) after each editorial review and suggest action items, if required.
- Trace the development curve, maintain KPIs and identify development areas of analysts. Work with the respective Team Leads and the analysts to develop/suggest an action plan.
- Ensure adherence to the teams editorial process
- This role would also be responsible for internal communication of extended CoRe team
Experience: 1-2 Years
Timings: 11AM to 8PM
Location: Hyderabad
The Team:
CoRe Research & Insights provides secondary research and analysis services to global Member Firms in support of pursuit, business development, practice development, and client engagements. The team uses exclusive sources, specialized research skills and industry expertise to develop insightful research reports delivering significant value to their customers across global network.
Skills required:
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills; impeccable command of the English language, both written and spoken
- The ability to convey complex research ideas in a succinct, compelling, and readable way
- Strong storyboarding skills are preferred. Ability to write succinctly for executive audience
- Familiarity with Internet-based software and Microsoft Office products is essential, particularly PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Access
- Ability to think clearly and logically
Qualifications
Required:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in English Language, Linguistics studies, English Literature, journalism and/or mass communication
- Work experience of 1-2 years, preferably in roles such as business editor, business research writer, technical writer, journalist in recognized finance/business/economics magazines, newspapers or publishing houses.
- Marketing, public relations and communications experience will be an advantage.
