Business Development Professional – Agency Experience

**Experience Required:
5–10 years in Business Development / Client Acquisition, preferably in a creative or digital marketing agency with exposure to FMCG, FMCD, and Government clients.
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive client acquisition and revenue growth across branding, packaging design, and digital marketing verticals. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in identifying, pitching, and winning clients from FMCG, FMCD, and Government sectors, and a deep understanding of the agency business ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new business opportunities within FMCG, FMCD, and Government sectors.
Lead the complete sales cycle — from lead generation, pitch development, proposal submission, and negotiation to closure.
Collaborate with internal teams (creative, strategy, digital, and production) to deliver client-centric solutions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key marketing decision-makers and procurement heads.
Participate in government tenders, empanelments, and RFP submissions.
Strategize and execute campaigns for branding, packaging design, digital marketing, and communication projects.
Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
Prepare regular reports, forecasts, and revenue pipelines to ensure consistent target achievement.
Represent the agency in industry events, expos, and networking forums to drive business visibility.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Proven experience in client acquisition and account growth within FMCG, FMCD, or Government categories.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Strong understanding of branding, packaging design processes, and digital marketing services.
Experience in working with agency teams on proposals, costings, and client solutions.
Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of managing multiple accounts simultaneously.
Ability to prepare strategic decks, RFP documents, and commercial proposals.
Preferred Background:
Experience with agencies specializing in branding, creative design, packaging, digital marketing, or integrated communications.
Exposure to large-format campaigns, government empanelments, or public communication projects will be an added advantage.
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Mass Communication.
