Role Purpose

The role involves end-to-end ownership of SBI Card's customer-facing web platforms, ensuring high performance, compliance, and seamless user experience across critical applications. These platforms support key stakeholder engagement—including customers, regulators, and investors, and demand continuous operational oversight across infrastructure and service levels.

Role Accountability 

  1. Own end-to-end delivery, stability, and performance of customer-facing web platforms including core websites and service portals
  2. Lead execution of strategic and foundational IT programs and enhancements to support business growth, customer service and stakeholder engagement.
  3. Drive bi-modal project delivery, ensuring timely execution of concurrent initiatives while maintaining agility and compliance.
  4. Ensure adherence to external and internal regulations including those from RBI, PCI, and audit bodies, with proactive implementation of compliance-driven enhancements.
  5. Manage service delivery including incident response, uptime, vulnerability resolution, upgrades, and information security management.
  6. Define and lead the technology roadmap aligned to business goals, making architecture, deciding technology stack, and taking relevant sourcing decisions in collaboration with partners and vendors.
  7. Provide thought leadership on digital strategy, including personalization, DR planning, cloud enablement, and platform upgrades.
  8. Build and lead a high-performing team including full-time and support staff, focused on delivery ownership, learning, and collaboration.
  9. Plan and manage vertical budget and vendor relationships across delivery and operations, including procurement and risk oversight.
  10. Engage stakeholders across functions and leadership levels, conducting regular reviews and maintaining alignment with organizational priorities.
  11. Lead application architecture strategy and governance to ensure scalable, stable, and innovative platform evolution.
