About the Role

The
Vice President
is a key leadership position, directly reporting to the
Chairman & Managing Director
, and collaborating closely with senior leaders including the
Project Director, Senior Advisors, and the Board
.

h, and expand the work in India and beyond. The Vice President will bring a blend of

n to scale impact and deliver value across projects and partnerships

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational Leadership

  • Lead project delivery within th
    e power sect
    or, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines
  • Oversee project teams, ensuring adherence to budgets, quality benchmarks, and client expectations
  • Appl
    y cutting-edge innovations in energy syste
    ms and technology solutions to strengthen project outcomes
  • Represent the company i
    n client interactions, regulatory forums, and industry networ
    ks
  • Foster a culture o
    f collaboration, accountability, and professional grow
    th across teams

2. Business Development & Partnerships

  • Dri
    ve business gro
    wth through proactive opportunity identification, relationship building, and proposal development
  • Develop and deliv
    er concept notes, pitch decks, and strategic presentati
    ons to secure new projects and partnerships
  • Strengthen existing client relationships and onboard new ones acro
    ss consulting organizations, think tanks, private sector players, and foundati
    ons
  • Lead efforts
    to increase revenue by 20-30% annua
    lly, contributing to doubling topline and profits over a 3-year horizon

3. Strategic Leadership

  • Provide strategic direction
    for portfolio expan
    sion across emerging areas of the energy transition
  • Guide innovation, knowledge management, and thought leadership within the organization
  • Ensure rob
    ust governance, compliance, and financial manage
    ment practices
  • Contribute to organizational planning, talent development, and ecosystem engagement

Qualifications & Experience

  • Advanced degree (Masters or
    PhD) in Engineering, Management, Economics, Public Policy, or Architecture, with relevant specialization
  • 12-15+
    years of progressive experience in
    the power and energy s
    ector, ideally across consulting, policy, or program delivery
  • Proven track recor
    d of entrepreneurial or leadership exper
    ience, including setting up teams, managing multi-stakeholder projects, and driving business growth
  • Demonstrated experienc
    e in business develo
    pment, partnership management, and revenue generation
  • Strong understandin
    g of power systems, energy transition, and sustainable development princ
    iples
  • Experience working
    with private sector, government institutions, multilateral and bilateral agencies, and civil so
    ciety
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; ability to engage
    with regulators, senior bureaucrats, and corporate le
    aders
