Role & responsibilities
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- MQ certified desirable
- Certification or Knowledge of Websphere related products (WAS, Liberty, Portal)
- Minimum 10 years technical experience in Middleware administration and MQ administration
- Proven capability in motivating people both in and outside their team, creating a team-led culture, must be open to act on any feedback given.
- Solid technical knowledges in Middleware products such as IBM MQ, WAS, Portal, IHS, redis, Apache, Tomcat, , Hazelcast and Kong
- Good technical design and implementation skills with proven track record of delivering large and complex projects
- Hands on experience on installing/upgrading/patching the Middleware products
- Experience in delivering large scale projects and working with stakeholders in different levels
- Experience in Python/shell scripting
- Automation tool knowledge on Ansible, Jenkins, Puppet is preferable
- Experience on AWS, Azure, GCP, Ali cloud technology is a plus
- Good communication and presentation skills to build effective working relationship with peer groups and users
- End to end systems architecture knowledge
- DevOps principles for efficient delivery
- Mentoring and supporting colleagues
- Infrastructure design and architecture – collaboration with Solution Architect and Lead Developers
