Job Summary

We are seeking experienced professionals to support B2x infrastructure and production environments built on IBM WebSphere Application Server (Traditional ND & Liberty) and IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW), along with other middleware platforms.

The role involves L2/L3 production support, incident and problem management, change implementation, and close collaboration with planning and development teams to ensure stable and compliant operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 24x7 operational support for middleware and infrastructure platforms
  • Handle incident, problem, and change management using SC3 or successor tools
  • Perform system maintenance activities including installation, upgrades, patching, and performance tuning
  • Participate in planning, development, and readiness activities
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and operational manuals in line with SLA requirements
  • Deliver on-call support during non-working hours, weekends, and public holidays
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors during critical incidents
  • Ensure adherence to Škoda Auto IT standards, security policies, and escalation procedures

Required Technical Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise IT environments
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
  • IBM WebSphere Application Server – Traditional (ND) & Liberty
  • IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW)
  • Apache Tomcat and Apache HTTP Server
  • Liferay DXP
  • Azure DevOps pipelines
  • Oracle REST Data Services and database client tools
  • 389 Directory Server

Operating Systems & Technical Knowledge

  • Solid understanding of:
  • Windows, RedHat Linux, and AIX
  • TCP/IP networking, SSL, PKI, and certificate management
  • Firewall and DMZ configurations
  • Bash scripting
  • ITIL-based service management processes

Preferred Certifications

  • IBM Certified System Administrator – WebSphere ND & Liberty
  • IBM Certified Administrator – Cloud Pak for Business Automation
  • Compliance knowledge/certifications: ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 20000-1, TISAX

Soft Skills & Language Requirements

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills
  • English proficiency (spoken and written) – minimum B2 level
