We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented
Quantity Surveyor (QS)
with
3+ years of hands-on experience
in construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in
NGL (Natural Ground Level)
assessment,
PCC (Plain Cement Concrete)
works, and
Excavation activities
, along with solid knowledge of quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate
    quantity take-offs
    , cost estimates, and BOQs for civil works.
  • Conduct site measurements and verify
    NGL levels
    , excavation depths, and backfilling quantities.
  • Monitor and estimate
    PCC works
    , shuttering, reinforcement, and concrete requirements.
  • Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and project managers for smooth execution.
  • Prepare and evaluate contractor bills, work orders, and material reconciliation.
  • Track project costs, forecast budget requirements, and control cost deviations.
  • Maintain detailed documentation related to quantities, drawings, and site activity records.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant experience
    as a Quantity Surveyor in civil construction.
  • Strong understanding of
    NGL assessments
    ,
    PCC works
    , and
    Excavation Works
    .
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting civil drawings and site plans.
  • Experience with estimation software, MS Excel, and quantity measurement tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and coordination skills with site and project teams.
  • Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or related discipline.

Preferred Attributes

  • Ability to work independently on-site with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
  • Knowledge of local construction standards and practices in Karnataka.
