We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Quantity Surveyor to join our team for infrastructure and urban development projects in Bangalore. The role involves managing project costs, conducting quantity take-offs, preparing BOQs, and ensuring compliance with local government standards and BBMP specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review Bill of Quantities (BOQs) based on drawings and specifications.

  • Conduct site measurements and quantity take-offs for civil works including buildings, roads, drains, footpaths, culverts, and other infrastructure.

  • Monitor project budgets and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Prepare estimates and rate analysis in accordance with schedule of rates (SR).

  • Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and engineers to verify work progress and quantities.

  • Prepare and verify interim and final payment bills for contractors.

  • Evaluate and negotiate variation orders and change requests.

  • Maintain documentation and records as per BBMP audit requirements.

  • Ensure compliance with BBMP's quality and safety standards.

  • Provide regular progress reports and cost forecasts to project managers.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in infrastructure or government projects.

  • Strong knowledge of BBMP procedures, specifications, and SRs

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software (e.g., CostX).

  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Fluent in English and Kannada (preferred).

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working directly with municipal bodies or government contracts, especially BBMP.

  • Familiarity with tender documentation and e-procurement processes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35, ₹50,000.00 per month
