Position Summary

Sun Shaper Energy Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Sales Manager – Residential Rooftop Solar for our Kanpur operations. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving residential rooftop solar sales, managing field sales teams, achieving revenue targets, and ensuring high customer satisfaction while adhering to company policies and compliance standards.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Lead and manage residential rooftop solar sales operations in the assigned territory.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets (KW and order closures).
  • Develop and execute local sales strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Oversee lead conversion (company-generated and self-generated leads).

Team Management

  • Recruit, train, mentor, and manage Sales Executives and Team Leaders.
  • Assign daily/weekly targets and monitor team performance.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide corrective guidance when required.

Customer & Market Management

  • Conduct site visits, customer meetings, and negotiations for residential rooftop projects.
  • Ensure accurate pricing, proposal submission, and order closure.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, channel partners, and local stakeholders.
  • Handle escalations and ensure timely resolution of customer issues.

Coordination & Reporting

  • Coordinate with design, operations, and project teams for smooth execution.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of sales data, DPRs, and CRM updates.
  • Monitor pipeline, forecasts, and conversion ratios.

Compliance & Ethics

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, ABAC (Anti-Bribery & Anti-Corruption) standards, and statutory requirements.
  • Prevent miscommitments, data manipulation, or unethical sales practices.

Eligibility & Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate in any discipline (MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred).
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 3–6 years of sales experience,
  • At least 2+ years in residential rooftop solar sales is mandatory.
  • Proven experience in managing field sales teams.
  • Strong understanding of residential rooftop solar EPC processes.

  • Sound knowledge of local market dynamics

Other Requirements

  • Two-wheeler mandatory for field travel
