Role & responsibilities:

  • Lead Solar Project Construction cycle starting from land identification & acquisition, development permits, project execution, approvals, regulatory and asset management.

  • Internal coordination with Engineering, Procurement, QA, Commercial and HSE departments for smooth execution at the site.

  • Compilation & implementation of customized construction philosophy for project

  • Review & Monitor Construction progress & provide guidance for effective implementation.

  • Review Project Risks, approve & monitor effective implementation of mitigation measures.

  • Monitor Construction Quality and Safety (HSE) reports, review analysis and approve corrective actions and monitor effective implementation

  • Co-ordinate with various sub-contractors to ensure completion of work as per time, quality and schedule.

  • Set weekly and monthly targets for project team

  • Review project budget and suggest adequate measures to achieve resource optimization.

  • Liaise with third-party contractors, vendors, channel partners, inspection agencies and statutory bodies.

  • Should have collaborative & flexible style of working

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong project management skills

  • Exposure to Project management in small scale EPC projects

  • Experience in managing different stakeholders in the successful delivery of project management scope of work.

  • People management capability- ability to build a high-performance team

  • Strong business understanding to ensure smooth formulation and implementation of all the policies and procedures

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Comfortable with handling volatile situations and adapting to change.
