Position Overview
The Partner's Connect team plays a pivotal role in expanding and strengthening the vendor network. This role involves onboarding new vendors, nurturing existing relationships, sourcing leads, and ensuring smooth communication to maximize growth across marketplaces like Amazon and Walmart. The position requires proactive outreach, vendor management, and efficient execution of assigned tasks within defined timelines.
Responsibilities
1. Onboard new vendors by ensuring full compliance with marketplace standards and operational requirements on platforms such as Amazon and Walmart.
Strategically expand the vendor network by identifying and targeting high-potential categories and sub-categories with limited vendor presence.
Establish contingency plans by developing backup vendor options for key revenue-driving partners to mitigate risk and ensure business continuity.
Identify and qualify prospective vendors through detailed analysis of marketplace performance metrics, including seller ratings, product rankings, and sales volume.
Drive vendor acquisition through proactive outreach, conducting outbound calls to facilitate vendor engagement, onboarding and successful conversion.
Maintain continuous engagement with vendors by following up via email and other communication channels to ensure smooth onboarding and sustained collaboration.
Ensure timely completion of all onboarding tasks within defined Turnaround Times (TAT) and adhere to established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to maintain process efficiency.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
Prior experience in vendor management, client servicing, or business development (preferred but not mandatory for entry-level).
Familiarity with e-commerce marketplaces (Amazon/Walmart) is an added advantage.
SkillsStrong communication skills (verbal and written) for effective vendor interaction.
Proactive follow-up and relationship-building abilities.
Analytical mindset for identifying high-potential vendors and categories.
Attention to detail to avoid errors in vendor communication and onboarding processes.
Time management skills to meet deadlines and TAT requirements.
Basic knowledge of MS Office, CRM tools, and email communication platforms.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
