Associate - User experience design

JOB DESCRIPTION

As an Experience Design Professional within our Product and Experience Team, you will be responsible for setting and improving our organizational objectives, and ensuring their consistent accomplishment.

Job Responsibilities

• Drive user-centered design from initial research through iterative enhancement, including wireframing, rapid prototyping, and development of high-fidelity mockups.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, such as product owners, engineering leads, and UI developers, to align design solutions with user needs and business goals.
• Apply qualitative and quantitative research findings to validate and refine design concepts.
• Present design work to stakeholders, including business and product leaders, to showcase impact and incorporate feedback.
• Use and contribute to our design system and standard interaction patterns, staying updated on emerging UX trends and best practices.
• Share inspiration and innovative ideas with the team to foster a creative and collaborative culture.
• Develop user-friendly products for sophisticated financial service professionals.
• Establish and maintain design standards and best practices across the platform.
• Ensure prototypes and user journeys effectively meet real-world requirements.
• Support the convergence of multiple systems into a cohesive, effective user experience.
• Contribute to continuous improvement within the design team and broader organization.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in UX, HCI, related fields, or equivalent practical work experience in design.
• Minimum 6 years as an Experience Designer with a focus on products.
• Expertise in experience design, including research, information architecture, product design, visual design, prototyping, and validation.
• Proficient with Figma and fluent with design systems and research tools (e.g., Maze).
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with designers, product and technology partners, and business stakeholders.
• Experience working with agile and lean development teams.
• Experience designing for enterprise applications or other complex, data-rich products.
• Portfolio with case studies detailing Experience Design process and problem-solving ability.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

• Experience designing for financial services strongly preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in design research methodologies.
• Experience with global or multi-geography product teams.
• Demonstrated ability to drive innovation in design.
• Experience contributing to or managing design systems.
