Role & responsibilities

  • Procurement & Sourcing:

  • Identify and source consumables, components, tools, and equipment.

  • Float RFQs, evaluate quotations, and conduct techno-commercial negotiations.

  • Finalize suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery timelines, and reliability.

  • Coordination & Communication:

  • Collaborate with production, planning, and quality teams to understand material requirements.

  • Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet production schedules.

  • Coordinate with logistics and stores for inward material handling.

  • Documentation & Compliance:

  • Maintain purchase orders, agreements, and records.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies,

Preferred candidate profile

  • Strong knowledge of engineering materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Negotiation and communication skills.
  • Must have handled the procurement of Indirect materials/MRO.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally ERP).
  • Good understanding of supply chain dynamics and inventory control.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/specifications.
