In this role, you will manage license servers, monitor usage, handle renewals, and maintain accurate records of software entitlements. You will support engineering teams using EDA tools, analyse license consumption patterns, resolve ticket requests through ITSM tools, and ensure that licensing systems run effectively. The role requires strong knowledge of software licensing models, Python for automation tasks, Linux OS, and experience with BMC Remedy for issue tracking.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and monitor license servers for EDA and other software tools.
  • Track license utilisation, maintain accurate records, and update entitlement details.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing agreements and support audit requirements.
  • Troubleshoot license-related issues raised by users and resolve them through ITSM platforms.
  • Automate routine tasks using Python to improve license reporting and tracking.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to forecast license requirements.
  • Support installation, configuration, and management of license files on Linux systems.
  • Manage renewals, expirations, vendor communication, and documentation.
  • Provide regular reports on software usage, availability, and optimisation opportunities.
  • Work closely with engineering, procurement, and IT teams to ensure smooth licensing operations.
