Overview:

BHN operates a card issuance and processing platform that enables both internal and external experiences through API products. You'll own product strategy and execution for our platform APIs—treating them as products with managed roadmaps, developer-first design, and measurable adoption.

You'll work at the intersection of developer experience, end-user journeys, and business value. Your job is to methodically map integration flows and user experiences across a variety of use cases - making it seamless for partners to build while ensuring their end users get intuitive, friction-free card experiences. You'll own the full journey: from API design to the customer touchpoints those APIs enable. High exposure role working with engineering, partnerships, and leadership.

Responsibilities:

Job Responsibilities

  • Own API product roadmap—define strategy, prioritize features, ship capabilities that balance developer experience with business impact
  • Drive developer experience—integration patterns, documentation, onboarding flows that minimize friction and time-to-live
  • Map and optimize user journeys—understand end-to-end experiences from partner integration through customer card usage, identify friction points, drive improvements
  • Work with engineering to translate requirements into technical specs, manage delivery, make build vs. buy trade-offs
  • Define success metrics (API adoption, integration velocity, developer satisfaction, user experience KPIs) and use data to iterate
  • Support partnership integrations and technical evaluations alongside business development
  • Collaborate with compliance, risk, and operations to meet regulatory and operational standards

Qualifications:

Requirements

  • 4-6 years product management, at least 2 years on API products in B2B2C contexts; Fintech or payments background is a plus
  • Own product backlog and sprint planning in agile development cycles—manage requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria in Atlassian environment (Jira, Confluence)
  • Track record shipping API products with measurable developer adoption
  • Developer-centric mindset—you understand API design, integration patterns, what makes great DX
  • User experience focus—methodical approach to mapping journeys, identifying friction, optimizing flows
  • Technical fluency to engage with engineering on architecture and system design
  • Data-driven—define metrics, analyze patterns, validate decisions
  • Strong communication across technical and business stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree (technical backgrounds preferred); product/API certifications a plus
  • Nice to have: experience in Card processing platforms, payment orchestration, API tooling, embedded finance, B2B SaaS

We seek candidates who not only demonstrate curiosity and adaptability in emerging technologies but have also successfully implemented and utilized AI tools to enhance their work, improve processes, or deliver measurable results.  Our teams embrace continuous learning and the thoughtful integration of AI to create meaningful impact – for our employees and the future of work.
