Product Manager – Job Description Summary of Functions

The Product Manager will define and drive the product vision for our healthcare IoT analytics platform, coordinating the full product lifecycle from concept through launch and ongoing improvement. This role is responsible for managing user feedback loops, translating healthcare market needs into product features, and overseeing the development process in collaboration with cross-functional teams. The Product Manager ensures that product features and updates align with business goals and user expectations, and tracks key metrics to measure success.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in software product management (preferably in healthcare and/or IoT sectors) and is skilled at balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution. Strong communication, analytical skills, and familiarity with agile methodologies are essential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap for the company's healthcare IoT analytics software, ensuring it aligns with overall business strategy and market needs.

• Conduct market research and gather user requirements (from healthcare clients, patients, or internal stakeholders) to identify opportunities and refine product features.

• Collaborate closely with engineering, UX/UI design, and data teams to translate product requirements into technical specifications and guide the development of new features.

• Prioritize the product backlog and manage the product development lifecycle using agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum), ensuring timely and high-quality releases.

• Establish and monitor key product performance metrics (such as user engagement, adoption rates, and data accuracy) to evaluate product success and inform continuous improvements.

• Coordinate product launch activities and feature updates, working with marketing and customer support to ensure successful rollouts and user onboarding.

• Incorporate user feedback and data analytics into product iterations, maintaining a feedback loop to enhance the product's value proposition continuously.

• Ensure the product complies with healthcare industry regulations and data security/privacy standards (e.g., patient data protection) throughout the development process.

• 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager in software development, with a strong preference for experience in healthcare technology or IoT-related products.

• Proven track record of managing a product through its lifecycle—from initial concept and requirements gathering to launch and iterative improvement.

• Familiarity with IoT technologies (e.g. connected devices, sensors) and/or healthcare software systems, and the ability to understand technical constraints and opportunities in these domains.

• Experience with agile product management and proficiency in using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) to manage sprints and backlogs.

• Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset; able to interpret usage data and research to make informed product decisions.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across remote, cross-functional teams (engineering, design, marketing, etc.).

• Experience in defining and tracking product metrics/KPIs to measure success and inform decision-making.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
