Job Purpose: Lead - SCM Civil & Structure is responsible for providing strategic oversight, ensuring the timely and cost-effective completion and procurement of all construction activities while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. The role focuses on managing resources, collaborating with stakeholders, driving process improvements, and fostering long-term growth and innovation in project execution. Additionally, the lead is responsible for cultivating positive relationships with communities and ensuring sustainable practices in line with organizational objectives.
Project Oversight:
Take overall responsibility for planning, monitoring, and overseeing all civil and structural project activities, incorporating supply chain coordination to ensure timely material procurement, delivery, and integration.
Provide leadership to site teams, contractors, and supply chain partners, ensuring the proper execution of tasks, addressing logistical challenges, and mitigating supply chain disruptions that could hinder project progress.
Business Process Improvement:
Identify inefficiencies in civil and structural workflows, including procurement and material management processes, and implement improvements to optimize performance and project outcomes.
Lead initiatives to incorporate advanced supply chain technologies and practices, enhancing cost competitiveness, reducing material wastage, and maintaining high-quality output in civil and structural works.
Vendor and Contract Management:
Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure the timely issuance of LOIs, POs, and vendor payments, fostering strong relationships with suppliers and contractors.
Oversee the closure of contracts, ensuring all deliverables—including materials and services—are met, payments are reconciled, and supply chain performance is evaluated post-project for continuous improvement.
Risk Management:
Develop and manage project budgets with a focus on material cost optimization and efficient resource allocation, leveraging supply chain insights to minimize procurement-related overruns.
Proactively assess risks to project timelines, budgets, and quality by monitoring supply chain dynamics, such as vendor reliability and material availability, and implementing mitigation plans to avoid disruptions.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including supply chain partners and local communities, to address concerns and ensure seamless project execution.
Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholder engagement, coordinating with the supply chain team to resolve conflicts related to material deliveries, costs, or vendor performance while fostering cooperation.
Strategic Growth Planning:
Develop strategies and long-term plans that integrate supply chain innovations to support the company's vision for sustainable growth and operational excellence in civil and structural projects.
Collaborate with supply chain, engineering, and cross-functional teams to align civil and structural objectives with broader organizational goals, ensuring a unified approach to execution and planning.

Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or business management are desirable.
Work Experience:
18 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management, with a focus on renewable energy or infrastructure projects.
Proven track record of managing large-scale projects and leading cross-functional teams.
