Job Summary:

The Project Engineer will be responsible for managing and finalizing all electrical-related project activities at sites, from execution to handover. The role involves coordinating with site teams, clients, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure successful completion, testing, commissioning, documentation, and material reconciliation in line with company and client standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support site teams in execution of electrical installations and ensure completion within quality and safety standards.
  • Prepare and compile project closing documents such as measurement sheets, as-built drawings, material approvals, test reports, and O&M manuals.
  • Coordinate with testing and commissioning teams for verification, certification, and performance validation of electrical systems.
  • Conduct material reconciliation at sites, verify consumption against dispatch and drawings, and report variances to the project management team.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors for inspections, approvals, and handover activities.
  • Ensure punch list and non-conformance issues are resolved and documented.
  • Maintain accurate project records, correspondence, and documentation in line with company procedures.
  • Coordinate with design, procurement, and site execution teams to gather and verify documents for project closure.
  • Attend project close-out meetings and ensure all technical and contractual obligations are fulfilled.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 2–7 years of experience in electrical project execution, testing, commissioning, and documentation.
  • Hands-on experience in site material reconciliation and inventory tracking.
  • Willingness to travel and stay at project sites across South India as required.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office tools.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and analytical skills.
  • Good understanding of electrical systems, project drawings, and industrial construction practices.

Work Location:

Base office at Kochi, with frequent travel to project sites in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka.
