Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Water Treatment Operator based in Chennai. The Water Treatment Operator will be responsible for overseeing daily plant operations, monitoring water and wastewater treatment processes, and ensuring optimal process control. The role involves operating and maintaining pump stations, conducting system checks, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining compliance with environmental regulations. The operator will also ensure proper documentation and reporting of system performance.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience in Plant Operations and Water Treatment processes
  • Experience with Wastewater Treatment and Process Control systems
  • Understanding of Pump Stations and related equipment maintenance
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot system issues
  • Familiarity with safety standards and environmental compliance regulations
  • Technical certifications or a diploma in water technology, environmental engineering, or a related field is preferred
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work effectively in an on-site industrial environment
