
Lead - Alternate Business (Individual contributor sales role)

1. Knowledge & Skills Required:
- Deep understanding of Category III AIFs
- Strong grasp of investment products: equity, debt, derivatives, structured products, REITs, INVITs, commodities
- Familiarity with SEBI regulations governing AIFs (Categories I, II, III)
Certifications:
NISM VA and NISM Series XXI-A & B
NISM Investment Adviser Level 1 & 2 (Series X-A & X-B)
Experience in selling AIFs and PMS to:
HNIs, UHNWIs, and PCG clients
PCG distributors, bank and non-bank PCG desks
Strong relationships with Asset Management and securities desks for large banks.
- Market intelligence on HNI behavior, preferences, and service providers
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
2. Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales of Category III AIFs across HNI and PCG segments
- Work closely with Sales Heads (SHs) and Zonal Heads (ZHs) to generate and close leads across geographies and channels
- Build and manage a pipeline of HNI prospects through direct engagement and channel partners
- Conduct product presentations, portfolio reviews, and investment strategy discussions with clients and advisors
- Ensure regulatory compliance and documentation as per SEBI AIF norms
- Collaborate with product, compliance, and operations teams to ensure seamless onboarding and servicing
- Track competitor offerings and market trends to refine sales strategy
- Represent the firm at industry events, seminars, and investor forums
