Role : Formatting and Publishing Specialist

The Formatting, Publishing and Platform Specialist will be part of the Research Publishing team and will work closely with Acuity's clients to format, publish and distribute research via publishing platforms, such as FactSet Partners.

Main responsibilities

  • Formatting/organizing material (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) in line with templates and branding guidelines
  • Ensuring exhibits/visuals are in line with specifications and creating graphics/infographics/vectors
  • Checking tagging and publishing reports on publishing platforms/portals
  • Managing the publishing process, including changes within the platform, troubleshooting and training
  • Manage changes within the platform, including processes related to initiating coverage, terminating coverage, suspending coverage and adding new analysts
  • Carry out UAT; coordinate with the platform vendor
  • Train analysts on using the platform
  • Assisting the supervisor in tasks/assignments such as developing/executing new procedures/processes and diagnosis of problems/client issues

  • Ensure high-quality output and be able to work under tight deadlines
  • Have high attention to detail
  • Comfortable handling multiple projects simultaneously
  • Should be proactive and innovative
  • Should be crisp and clear in communication with clients and the internal team and work as an interface between the team and the client-counterpart
  • Should be able to coordinate with overseas clients, understand requirements, and direct the existing DTP team with requirements/ideas when needed

Required skills

  • Experience of over 5 years
  • Knowledgeable in MS Office Applications (PowerPoint, Word and Excel are a must)
  • Knowledgeable in publishing platforms (FactSet, Blue Curve, Blue Matrix and other proprietary platforms would be a major plus)

Job locations: Colombo, Bangalore, Pune, Gurgaon (Remote)

Working hours: 9-hour shift between 6PM and 6AM India/Sri Lanka (as suitable for the candidate)
