The Purchase Executive will be responsible for managing procurement activities to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of raw materials, machinery, and services essential for plastic manufacturing operations. This role demands strong vendor management, negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of supply chain dynamics within the plastics sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Material Requirement Planning: Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify procurement needs based on production schedules.
  • Vendor Development & Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers for raw materials like polymers, additives, and packaging.
  • Purchase Order Processing: Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in terms, pricing, and delivery timelines.
  • Cost Optimization: Negotiate pricing and payment terms to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
  • Inventory Coordination: Monitor stock levels and coordinate with stores to maintain optimal inventory.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and maintain proper documentation for audits.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, pricing fluctuations, and new supplier opportunities.
  • Quality Assurance: Work with the quality team to ensure procured materials meet required standards.

Required Skills
