Procurement/Purchase Executive

Position: Procurement/Purchase Executive Brand/Department : Supply Chain / Procurement Location: Mumbai Reporting to: Role Overview: The Procurement Executive will be responsible for end-to-end vendor management, procurement operations, inventory control, and logistics coordination across multiple brands. The role ensures timely sourcing, quality compliance, and seamless flow of materials to support retail and caf operations. Key Responsibilities: Vendor Sourcing & Onboarding Identify and connect with new vendors for gourmet food, packaging, and non-food items. Negotiate favorable terms and onboard vendors in line with company standards. Ensure product sampling, quality checks, and pricing align with brand expectations. Vendor Relationship & Database Management Maintain a detailed and up-to-date vendor database, including pricing, contracts, and performance records. Build long-term vendor relationships to ensure consistent product availability and cost efficiency. Order Placement & Coordination Manage the end-to-end ordering process across brands and vendors. Ensure timely procurement and delivery based on store and warehouse requirements. Track and follow up on orders, ensuring quality and adherence to deadlines. Inventory Management & Replenishment Monitor and manage inventory levels at stores and warehouses. Plan reorders, replenishment's, and returns; coordinate expiry tracking. Analyze inventory trends to optimize stock levels and minimize wastage. Procurement of Packaging & Gifting Materials Source and procure packaging, gifting, and raw materials aligned with brand aesthetics andquality standards. Ensure materials meet operational and design requirements. Warehouse & Logistics Coordination Coordinate inventory movement between warehouses and stores based on consumption andsales trends. Maintain stock accuracy and assist in logistics and dispatch planning. Invoice Verification & Payment Tracking Verify vendor invoices for accuracy and maintain payment trackers. Coordinate with Finance for timely payment processing and discrepancy resolution. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience in procurement, vendor management, or inventory control (retail or F&B preferred). Strong negotiation, analytical, and coordination skills. Proficient in MS Excel and ERP systems. Excellent communication and relationship management abilities. Key Attributes: Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Proactive and resourceful in handling multiple priorities. Strong analytical mindset and ability to drive process efficiency. Collaborative and dependable team player. Commercially aware with problem-solving capabilities.
