Position: Salon Manager
Location: Pune
Reports to: Franchise Owner or CRM
Overview:
The Salon Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the salon, ensuring smooth service delivery, driving sales, and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
The role involves managing staff, meeting business targets, and promoting a positive work environment. The Salon Manager should be an effective leader, excellent communicator, and have a deep understanding of salon operations and the beauty industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
Ensure the salon operates smoothly on a daily basis.
Oversee the scheduling of appointments and ensure the timely provision of services.
Manage inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels of beauty products and salon supplies.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in the salon.
Handle client complaints or issues effectively, ensuring prompt resolution.
Staff Management:
Lead and supervise a team of hairdressers, beauticians, and other staff members.
Recruit, train, and mentor staff to ensure excellent service standards.
Create and manage staff schedules, ensuring optimal staffing levels at all times.
Conduct regular staff performance evaluations and provide feedback to encourage professional growth.
Ensure staff adhere to grooming standards and professional behavior.
Sales & Business Development:
Drive sales by promoting salon services, memberships, and products.
Implement marketing strategies and promotional offers to attract and retain clients.
Achieve monthly business targets, monitor daily revenue, and manage salon financial performance.
Develop and maintain relationships with key clients to build brand loyalty.
Customer Service:
Ensure exceptional client service by maintaining high standards in all areas.
Promote the salon's brand and services to maintain a competitive edge.
Solicit and respond to client feedback to continuously improve the client experience.
Administrative Duties:
Maintain records of daily transactions, employee schedules, and inventory levels.
Ensure all staff follow company policies, procedures, and compliance with salon guidelines.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales, service performance, and staff productivity.
Stay updated on industry trends and innovations to implement best practices.
Marketing & Promotions:
Collaborate with marketing teams to organize and execute promotional campaigns.
Manage social media presence and client engagement online.
Coordinate local marketing initiatives, such as partnerships with nearby businesses, special events, and offers.
Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in salon management or similar role.
Strong knowledge of beauty and hair care services, trends, and products.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong sales and business acumen with a track record of meeting sales targets.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities.
Proficient in salon management software (e.g., Dingg)
Ability to manage a team effectively and resolve conflicts.
Preferred:
Prior experience in marketing or sales in the beauty industry.
