Position Summary**
Synergie Controls & Systems is looking for a
Technical Sales & Estimation Engineer** to strengthen our sales and project estimation team. This role requires a balance of **technical expertise** and **commercial acumen** to prepare accurate cost estimates, deliver competitive proposals, and drive customer engagement in the field of **industrial automation, control panels, and drives solutions**.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Sales & Business Development**
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target industries such as **OEMs, process plants, infrastructure, and industrial automation projects**.
* Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through regular interaction and technical support.
* Understand client requirements and recommend suitable Synergie solutions (Control Panels, Drives, Automation Systems).
* Prepare and deliver technical presentations/demos to clients.
**Estimation & Proposal Engineering*** Review customer specifications, tender documents, and drawings.
* Prepare **BOQs, costing, and technical-commercial quotations** in line with Synergie offerings.
* Coordinate with internal engineering and procurement teams for pricing inputs and technical validations.
* Ensure proposals are compliant with **technical, commercial, and contractual terms**.
**Coordination & Support*** Liaise with suppliers/vendors to obtain competitive pricing and technical data.
* Support sales team in negotiations with customers by providing technical and commercial clarifications.
* Provide regular updates on market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies.
**Required Skills & Competencies**
* Strong technical knowledge of **automation, control systems, MCC/PCC panels, VFDs, PLCs, and SCADA solutions**.
* Ability to read & interpret **electrical drawings, SLDs, and technical specifications**.
* Good understanding of **industrial pricing, estimation, and tendering**.
* Excellent communication, customer-handling, and negotiation skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD (basic), and ERP/CRM systems.
**Qualifications & Experience**
* **B.E./B.Tech or Diploma** in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
* **2–5 years** of experience in **technical sales, estimation, or proposal engineering** (preferably in automation/control panel industry).
* Customer-oriented, proactive, and able to work under tight deadlines.
