Position Purpose
Were seeking a highly skilled commercial manager to join our team and enable the seamless business growth of the company. An ideal commercial manager candidate ensures all compliances and monitors the growth of the company while ensuring that customers, supplier and ultimately the management are satisfied. This person will work across a range of roles from collaborating with customers, vendors and internal teams, for monitoring the procurement, dispatches, accounting, billing to providing guidance to the various teams. The commercial manager role is multi-faceted and primarily involves dealing with expenses and revenues, which aid the overall business growth. Ultimately he has the Overall responsibility for delivering Financial, Cost and Compliance at the plant as well as working with the plant team to achieve all KPIs of the plant.
Role And Responsibilities
Responsible for entire supply chain & logistics
o Recruitment of and having a proper dispatch & logistics team
o Review open POs and follow up with concerned functions for timely closure - Coordinating with the production team with respect to the orders and ensuring timely and quality dispatches
o Responsible for maintaining healthy relationships across all teams within the plant
o Responsible for maintaining healthy working relationship with the Transporters and ensure vehicle / vessel availability
o Having a good networking and understanding with customers
o Having good networking with the suppliers / vendors
- Support the other departments with queries about commercial processes
- Minimizing wastages and opportunity costs thereby contributing to higher profits and efficiencies
o In charge of effective and efficient procurement contributing to savings
o Responsible for custody and control of inventory of all finished goods and packing material - In charge of efficient & effective stores, warehousing and logistics - leading to cost savings
o Controlling overheads. To track performances on a regular basis and drive attention to key performance indicator
o Responsible for month end closing activity and reporting - Review and track spending and savings, and provide timely reports to the management
- Responsible for all statutory compliances with respect to the plant (excluding Production & HR) including financial compliances like EPR, ESH, Fire, Safety, GST, Billings, BL, Documentation and all other statues. To facilitate the interactions with the various authorities like Dept of Industries, PCB and other concerned departments, etc
- Ensuring proper billing, accounting and documentation.
- Recording and maintaining all important data and information
- Manage commercial risks and devise strategies to overcome them
Qualifications, Requirements & Preferred Skills
- Experience as a commercial manager, or as an assistant commercial manager
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to think strategically
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure independently as a commercial manager
- Skillset to develop and foster relationships with clients, suppliers, and customer
- Time Management / Deadline-Oriented
- Fantastic Negotiation Skills
- Good Knowledge of MS Office
- Graduate preferred (from any vocation)
- Attention to Detail
- Proficient in English & Hindi
- Maintain Confidentiality
Exp.- Total of 10 Years with at least 3 years in Commercial
