Position Overview:

We are looking for a Legal Associate with 2–3 years of experience in corporate law to assist our corporate lawyer in handling day-to-day legal matters of the organization. The role involves working closely with management and legal counsel on documentation, compliance, and other legal assignments. This position may also require travelling to coordinate with vendors, government departments, or legal authorities when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the corporate lawyer in all legal and compliance matters.
  • Draft, review, and maintain contracts, MOUs, vendor agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Coordinate with internal departments for legal documentation and approvals.
  • Ensure timely compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the lawyer in case preparations, documentation, and external communication.
  • Visit external offices, law firms, or government departments as and when required.
  • Maintain proper filing and record-keeping of all legal documents and correspondence.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • LLB or equivalent degree from a recognized university.
  • 2–3 years of experience in corporate law, preferably in a corporate or publishing setup.
  • Sound knowledge of corporate, contract, and compliance laws.
  • Excellent drafting, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to travel for work-related legal matters when required.
  • Organized, responsible, and capable of handling multiple assignments simultaneously.
