Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Jaipur for a Zonal Collections Manager. The role involves managing the collections team and ensuring timely payments from borrowers across an assigned geographic zone. Key responsibilities include monitoring daily collection performance, developing strategies to optimize recovery rates, and addressing borrower queries. The role also involves training and mentoring field executives, performing field visits, and collaborating with other departments to resolve challenges efficiently. The Zonal Collections Manager will maintain accountability for achieving collection targets while upholding the company's values of empathy and trust.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in debt recovery, collections management, and understanding field-level collection processes.
  • Leadership skills, including team training, performance monitoring, and mentoring.
  • Proficiency in data management, report generation, and tracking metrics for recovery performance.
  • Effective communication in both Hindi and English, with the ability to converse in local dialects being an advantage.
  • Problem-solving abilities to address borrower concerns and strategize solutions for collection optimization.
  • Understanding of rural financial systems and grassroots-level credit operations is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in collections or a related financial services role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is required; an MBA or PGDM is desirable.
