We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented General Manager (GM) to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Steel Plant. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of steel production processes, and proven experience in managing plant operations, manpower, and production targets efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and oversee overall plant operations and production targets.
  • Supervise departments including production, maintenance, quality, and logistics.
  • Ensure smooth functioning of rolling mills, furnaces, and other steel plant units.
  • Monitor raw material usage, production costs, and optimize plant efficiency.
  • Implement strategies to improve production output and maintain product quality.
  • Lead, motivate, and guide team members for high performance and discipline.
  • Coordinate with management for production planning and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Control operational budgets and ensure cost-effective resource utilization.
  • Manage vendor relations and ensure timely supply of materials.
