We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented General Manager (GM) to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Steel Plant. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of steel production processes, and proven experience in managing plant operations, manpower, and production targets efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and oversee overall plant operations and production targets.
- Supervise departments including production, maintenance, quality, and logistics.
- Ensure smooth functioning of rolling mills, furnaces, and other steel plant units.
- Monitor raw material usage, production costs, and optimize plant efficiency.
- Implement strategies to improve production output and maintain product quality.
- Lead, motivate, and guide team members for high performance and discipline.
- Coordinate with management for production planning and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Control operational budgets and ensure cost-effective resource utilization.
- Manage vendor relations and ensure timely supply of materials.
