BDE Intern – Roles & Responsibilities1. Sales & Business Development
Assist in identifying and approaching potential clients (online and offline).
Support lead generation through calls, emails, networking events, and offsite activities.
Help in preparing sales pitches, presentations, and client proposals.
Shadow senior sales team members in meetings to learn deal-closure techniques.
2. Market & Role Research
Conduct online research (LinkedIn, industry portals, job boards) to identify target companies, roles, and decision-makers.
Carry out offline research (field visits, local events, industry meetups) to gather insights.
Research competitors, industry trends, and client needs to support sales strategies.
3. Marketing Support (Attitudinal, Not Just Digital)
Participate in offline marketing activities like campus drives, roadshows, or networking events.
Assist in role-specific marketing campaigns (positioning services to schools, startups, SMEs, etc.).
Promote brand awareness through relationship-building and attitude-based interactions (not limited to online ads).
4. Operational Support
Maintain and update CRM/lead tracking sheets.
Document client interactions, feedback, and research findings.
Coordinate between sales, marketing, and design/operations teams for client requirements.
