Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and technically competent Service Manager with 7 to 9 years of hands-on experience in servicing automobiles, tractors, or heavy machinery. This role involves providing end-to-end support in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and post-sales service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and product reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on automobiles, tractors, trenchers, harvesters and heavy machinery at service centers or customer locations.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and periodic service as per OEM standards.
  • Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities, job cards, parts used, and customer interactions.
  • Provide technical support to dealers, customers, and field technicians.
  • Escalate major issues to the technical or R&D team and assist in root cause analysis.
  • Coordinate with spare parts teams to ensure availability and timely replacement.
  • Participate in service training programs, product upgrades, and field service campaigns.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, warranty policies, and service documentation requirements.
  • Support pre-delivery inspections (PDI), service audits, and customer feedback programs.

Eligibility Criteria:

Qualification: B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical / Automobile / Agricultural / Electrical Engineering or related field.

Experience: 7 to 9 years in service and maintenance within automobile, tractor, trenchers, harvesters or Tata Motors, JCB, or similar heavy equipment industries.

Sound knowledge of IC engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions, electrical systems, and diagnostic tools.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Good communication skills for technical support and customer handling.

Willingness to travel for on-site service, dealer support, or rural service camps.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35, ₹50,000.00 per month
