Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager

Job Role:
SAP, Invoicing, Tax & Accounting

Reports To:
AVP – Project Development

Key Responsibilities

SAP Operations & Process Management

• Manage day-to-day operations in SAP for finance modules (FI/CO).
• Ensure accurate posting of invoices, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Monitor and resolve SAP-related issues with IT and business teams.

Invoicing & Accounts Payable

• Oversee vendor invoice processing and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Validate invoices against purchase orders and contracts.
• Ensure timely payments and maintain vendor relationships.

Tax Compliance

• Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory tax requirements.
• Prepare and file tax returns and ensure adherence to deadlines.
• Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants for compliance.

Accounting & Reporting

• Maintain accurate books of accounts as per applicable standards.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Support internal and external audits.

Process Improvement

• Identify gaps and implement automation or process enhancements.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and risk management practices.

Non-negotiable Skills And Abilities

• SAP Expertise Hands-on experience in SAP FI/CO modules
• Accounting Knowledge Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards.
• Taxation Practical knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
• Advanced Excel Proficiency in MS – Excel, preferably including macros & VBA and Power Point.

Interview Process

• Round 1 Screening by Manager (SCM) Project Development
• Round 2 Interview with DGM – Land (Head Office)
• Round 3 Interview with AVP Project Development

Education And Experience Required
Experience – Minimum 3-8 years' experience. Prior experience in
SAP environment
is mandatory.

Education – Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Finance / Accounting (B.Com, BBA). Preferred: MBA (Finance) or CA / CMA (Inter).
