We are looking for a dynamic Manager Procurement to manage the complete procurement and supply chain cycle, including strategic sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiations, logistics coordination, and inventory control. The role ensures timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services to support large-scale projects and business operations. The incumbent will collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational efficiency, cost optimization, and supplier performance excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end procurement activities, from requisition to contract finalization.
  • Drive supplier identification, evaluation, negotiation, and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate and oversee logistics operations for timely and efficient delivery.
  • Manage import/export procurement processes and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Monitor transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities in alignment with project schedules.
  • Maintain optimal stock levels by monitoring consumption and setting appropriate thresholds.
  • Supervise receipt, storage, and issue of materials to ensure quality and traceability.
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and reporting to support accurate inventory records.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives through negotiations and alternate sourcing strategies.
  • Implement best practices and ERP-based systems to enhance procurement efficiency.
  • Track and report procurement KPIs, providing insights for management decisions.
  • Work closely with project, engineering, and finance teams to align procurement with business goals.
  • Guide and support junior procurement staff, fostering a culture of accountability and efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical / Civil). MBA in Materials Management / Supply Chain
  • 9 to 12 years of experience in Procurement & Supply Chain, preferably in EPC, Infrastructure, Power, Oil & Gas, or Construction sectors.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems.
  • Strong exposure to procurement, logistics, and supply chain operations for project-driven environments.
