Role Description
- Vendor Development & Management
- Identify, onboard, and manage suppliers across wood, fabric, electronics, plastics, packaging, and logistics.
- Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, credit, and delivery schedules.
- Develop redundancy in supply to minimize risks.
- Strategic Procurement
- Plan procurement budgets aligned with sales forecasts and production cycles.
- Optimize cost structures while maintaining quality and compliance.
- Monitor price trends and suggest hedging/stocking strategies.
- Operations & Quality
- Work closely with production and QC teams to ensure material specifications and timelines are met.
- Ensure vendors comply with child-safety, material safety, and quality standards.
- Compliance & Documentation
- Draft and execute vendor agreements, purchase orders, and T&Cs.
- Maintain procurement MIS, inventory records, and audit trails.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with R&D and product teams for new component sourcing.
- Coordinate with finance for payments, credit notes, and reconciliation.
