Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute strategic business development initiatives to support long-term growth.
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities with defence OEMs, DPSUs, DRDO labs, armed forces, and global aerospace partners.
  • Manage end-to-end proposal development, pricing, compliance, and contract negotiations.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key customers including HAL, BEL, BDL, DRDO, ADA, and major international OEMs.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Drive high-level techno-commercial discussions and present Nucon's capabilities to customers.
  • Work closely with engineering, program management, quality, supply chain, and manufacturing teams.
  • Represent Nucon at defence expos, customer visits, supplier meets, and industry conferences.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Minimum
    14 years of experience
    in Business Development, Program Management, or Technical Sales within the Aerospace & Defence sector.
  • Strong understanding of defence procurement processes (DPP/DAP) and regulatory frameworks.
  • Deep knowledge of aerospace systems such as actuators, avionics, UAVs, missile subsystems, or precision components.
  • Proven track record managing key customers like HAL, BEL, BDL, DRDO, ISRO, and global Tier-1 OEMs.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manage multiple high-value opportunities.
  • Leadership experience in cross-functional environments.
