Cost Accountant / Senior Cost Analyst - D2C or Consumer Electronics Focus

The Opportunity: Own the Cost in High-Velocity Commerce

We are a rapidly expanding [Consumer Electronics Manufacturing/Sales OR Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) Product/Subscription] company seeking a highly specialized Cost Accountant. You will be the sole owner of our product costing, inventory valuation, and margin optimization efforts.

If the majority of your recent career is rooted in managing the finances of physical products, high-volume inventory, or subscription services, we want to talk to you.

What You Will Own


• Product Costing Mastery: Full ownership of SKU costing, Bill of Material (BOM) reconciliation, and cost sheet finalization.


• Variance Deep Dive: Conduct detailed Material, Labor, and Overhead Variance Analysis (crucial for manufacturing) or Fulfillment/Logistics Cost Analysis (crucial for D2C).


• Inventory Control: Ensure rigorous Inventory Valuation and Control (Landed Cost, Stock Accuracy) for our high-volume supply chain.


• Profitability Driver: Identify, track, and lead initiatives to control cost leakages and drive gross margin optimization.

What You Must Bring


• Experience: 5+ years in Accounting/Finance, with a minimum of 2+ recent years of dedicated, hands-on experience in a:

  1. Consumer Electronics (CE) Manufacturing or Sales environment.

  2. Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) Product or Subscription Sales business.


• Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in SAP (FI/CO/MM modules preferred) or a similar major ERP system, and Advanced MS Excel.


• Qualification: CA Inter/Finalist/MBA (Finance) or equivalent professional qualification.
