Your role in the Team's Success
As a Customer Service Associate, you'll help deliver world-class and industry-leading trading support to our global client base. We're looking for people who have a passion for excellent client service and financial markets, and who have an interest in learning more about this exciting field
This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with strong interpersonal skills, seeking work in an active and team-focused environment. You're also well suited for the role if you have previous client services experience, thrive on interacting and assisting clients with wide range of queries, and if you have a demonstrated interest or prior exposure to financial markets, either through education, work, or self-driven learning.
What You'll Do
We'll provide on-the-job training and support to help ensure you quickly pick up the necessary knowledge and understanding.
Your Scope Of Duties Will Be Focused On
- Providing front-line support to our customers across chat/messaging, email, WhatsApp and social media (in English)
- Answering queries on all of our products, platforms and processes, and helping customers go further with their IG accounts
- Resolving trade issues and disputes
- Providing customers with technical support with our front-end platforms and chart packages
- Helping customers educate themselves further on the markets and our products
In doing so, you'll gain a strong understanding of financial markets, stock exchanges, macro-economic events and various financial instruments (stocks and derivatives). You'll also benefit from exposure to a vibrant, commercially driven environment, with development opportunities encompassing everything from client reactivation and retention, premium client service, Trading Services specialisms, as well as dealing and managerial roles.
What You'll Need For This Role
You don't need formal financial education or experience to apply, although a background in finance, economics, or related fields is welcome. What matters most is your genuine interest in financial markets, customer service, and your commitment to learning. If you have self-study experience, certifications, or personal projects related to financial markets, please include these in your application to demonstrate your passion and knowledge in this area.
We'll provide on-the-job training and support to ensure you quickly pick up the necessary knowledge and understanding. What's essential is a genuine interest in financial markets and client services, coupled with strong motivation, attention to detail, and an aptitude for numbers.
You'll Also Need
- Fluency in primary support language: English (written and spoken)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A logical and analytical approach to problem solving
- Confidence and accuracy to employ basic maths skills, particularly mental arithmetic
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to learn quickly and work under pressure
- Literacy in MS Office.
