Key Responsibilities:

System Installation & Configuration: Install and configure operating systems, server software, and applications on both hardware and virtual machines.

Hardware & Software Management: Manage the hardware life cycle, including procurement, setup, maintenance, and retirement of equipment. This includes installing and updating software to ensure systems are running the latest versions.

Performance Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor system performance, diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, and troubleshoot network problems to minimize downtime.

Security & Compliance: Implement and maintain security measures, perform regular security tests, monitor for unauthorized activity, and ensure systems comply with company policies and best practices.

User Support: Provide technical support to users through helpdesk tickets, phone calls, and emails, assisting with their computer and application issues.

Backup & Disaster Recovery: Develop and execute backup plans to safeguard data and implement disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.

User Account Management: Create, manage, and delete user accounts, as well as administer system permissions.

Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes to ensure a consistent and accessible knowledge base.
